I was born in Bishop, CA in 1975, my sister was born in 1978. John Swanson was our birth father. Sadly there were relationship issues with my mother and they divorced shortly after my sister was born.
We have had no contact with any of his side of the family at all, and honestly I must say it was not sought. I saw your post as I have been working on various aspects of my own family tree and through I have no strong ties, (No ties at all really), ancestry is ancestry and I thought that I would at least reply that it sounds like you had more contact and perhaps a better history with that side of the family than I had.
Long story short, if this is the same John Swanson we are speaking of, and I believe it is; you have a half brother and sister if that helps with your family tree at all.
