If this is the same Raymond Vincent Montes who was a brother to one of my school mates at Lone Pine Elementary School, and High School, this Raymond is a barber today (and he is my brother, Joseph, barber, and has been for a long time. (His mother's name was Mabel Diaz. She was a descendent of one of the older families in Lone Pine.)

Thank-you for your response. I'd be interested to know any
other information about the family you might know/have. My
mothers name is Betty Faye Brooks who also grew up in Lone
Pine and apparently had a relationship w/ Raymond Vincent
Montes just towards the end of high school. I beleive he is/was my brother, Luis Thomas Montes' father and maybe
mine (?), but do not know him...have never met him...I have
some old pictures of him & my mother from that time though.
