James Andress is really James Riley Andrus.
His obit mentions some of the people in the 1930 census.Genevive may just have been living with them as she is not mentioned as a relative. If anyone has more info about James or the others mentioned in the record, please let me know.

ANDRUS, In this city, March 3, 1940, James Riley Andrus, dearly beloved husband of Flora Andrus, loving father of Mrs. Lorraine Williams, James and Alvin Andrus, beloved grandfather of Alta Moore, Mrs. Echo Pagone, Aaron and Vernon Holt; a native of Oregon, aged 79 years.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral services Wednesday at 11 a. m., at the chapel of H. F. Suhr Co.,2919 Mission St., near 25th. St. Internment, Cypress Lawn Memorial Park.
