I checked W.A. Chalfant's account of the earthquake in his book, The Story of Inyo, but no names were given, just an account of the event. He did state however that many articles written at the time by "non-residents" were not accurate and exaggerated. Our Lasky's were in Bishop Creek in 1870, moving to Lone Pine before 1882. Barb
