Am searching for information on Lasky's: Levy or Levi, and sons Benjamin, Samuel, and Michael who arrived in Inyo Co. in the late 1800s and settled at Bishop Creek, Bishop, Big Pine and Lone Pine. They were merchants - owning dry goods stores.
Samuel married Eloisa Gahava and had 1 son, Frank Gregory Lasky. They divorced abt 5 yrs. later. Eloisa married a Salazar and later Tao Diaz. Frank Gregory married Julia Moore. He worked much of his adult life for the City of LA.
Levi, Benjamin and Michael are found in the San Francisco area after leaving Inyo County. There is also mention of a Kenot Mine connected with the Laskys.
