George and Mary, Thanks for your response to my inquiry re: Lasky's in Lone Pine, Inyo, CA. Mary, you were correct in the i.d. of Ernie Lasky, Jr. as the owner of the Tin Roof which, sadly was torn down by the county after Ernie's death. His Dad, Ernest Frank, was the owner of the TV and Radio and along with the Branson family, instrumental in bringing TV to Lone Pine - all of 3 channels via tower on Cerro Gordo.

Ernie Sr., is my husbands uncle.

We recently received copies of letters written to Ernie Srs. daughter Betty Jo in 1964 re: the Levi Lasky family. No dates, but lots of information with names and offspring of all the children. It was wonderful to get such a wealth of information.
