Thanks for that info. I have that census info and and an 1850 census record from Litchfield, Hillsdale, Michigan. I'll probably have to enlist local help for the death dates. But what I am trying to find out about is the parents of William and Nancy. Only one of the three death records I was able to find for their children lists Nancy's maiden name, Todd. There were other Todds in Northern California at the time, and of course plenty of Todds in Ohio and Michigan, but I'm trying to make a Todd connection.
