Looking for help to find the final resting place of my Grandfather he
arrived 1921 Ellis Island and reported to them that he had a home @ 17
conny ave. Fresno, Califonria But I cant find that address. He May also
have lived in San Francisco.
He was born 1/3/1855 Alsonderup. Denmark but his family returned to
Markaryd Sweden on 1/8/1857 He Married kristina gunneson 6/23/1876.
Sailed to US 4/4/1885 or 1886 to rais money for his wif and 7 children.
returned and sailed again arriving 9/26/1921 ellis Island,NY
USA.Claiming Danish Decent and that he was returning to his home @ 17 coony Ave.
Fresno, CA. With closest relative his sister Caroline Johansson of
Fredrickborg, Denmark.
He could have returned any where into California as thats where we had
heard from him.
Would anyone reading this have the time to look at the California
census of 1900-1910-1920 or 1930.
He used the name Olof Petersen on Arrival.
