I just got a reply from the El dorado Museum:
They suggest checking with the County's Recorders Office. They have a large collection of historical plat maps that they have scanned and are available in a digital format. Their website is www.edcgov.us/countyclerk
Possibly I was wrong? Could the Map CD they have actually contain Historical Maps?
If anyone checks this out please let me know which years they have..................
