I am looking for information on Jonathan Shippy born about 1821 in Ohio and purchased land in Bremer Co Iowa about 1854 and then was on the 1860 and 1870 census in El Dorado Co California. Found a land record dated 1880 in El Dorado. Nothing after that. Any information would be helpful.
