Joseph R. Montori was b. June 1915 in Liverpool, England and came to the US in 1925 with his siblings to live in New York City with their parents in Lower Manhattan. Joseph's parents were Jose/Joseph Montori b. Bilbao, Spain and Dolores Goiri De Gairy Artata (she used all surnames in different variations)b. Bilbao, Spain. The father was a sailor and apparently Joseph the son followed in his foot-steps. He apparently lived in Washington state and Oregan before moving to Concord, Contra Costa,California. He may have married a Laura Mensel and had at least 2 perhaps 3 children. The known children are; Eugene(named after Joseph's brother?) and Joseph Richard (Jr.). Joseph (b. 1917) had a sister Juanita b. 1921 m. a William J. Flahive and lived in NYC...who I am related to. Joseph died in January 1983 in California.
