Hi Roberta - Thanks for your email! No, unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of Josiah yet to compare with. I am just getting started on researching this branch of the family, but am interested in any info you might have. Josiah is my 3rd great grandfather, and I found a lot of information about him this summer in Jackson - including his hand written will in the probate courthouse records - it was wonderful! I do have one picture of his daughter Annie Trelease Ludt, though. Is the picture you are talking about taken in Amador City? Are you from the Thomas line? How do you know they came from Sithney Parish, and do you have any other information about Cornwall? I have found a Gundry researcher who has a Josiah in Cornwall who is probably the right one, but haven't been able to link him up for sure yet. She has lots of information on the Gundry family, which is great. I would love any info you have on the Jackson area and Gundry and related families. I am trying to get a mental picture of what the area was like at the time - sounds like a neat place to live. My next goal there is to contact a member of the Ninnis family - Jabez Ninnis was the executor for Josiah's estate, and became the guardian for his 4 grandsons, one of whom was my great-grandfather, so I would love to talk to someone from that family. Anyway, I'm thrilled to hear from you, and would be grateful for any info you have - it is hard to do much research there when you live in Texas! Thanks, Cindy Prusia Olive cdolive4@aol.com
