Did you ever find out any more about about Josiah Gundry from Sithney in Cornwall.I have a relative who is a Josiah born about 1826 in Sithney. He was about 15 in the 1841 UK Census. I have found that a Josiah Gundry was a magistrate in Amador in California. Josiah came from a mining family. My gt gt grandfather appears to be his brother. Best wishes
