I am looking for information on my grandfather and his family. His name was Morton Thornesberry. He was born in Utah on October 11, 1908 and died in January 1986. His mother's name was Mary Elizabeth and his father's name was Dennis. He was married to Thelma Lyon and then divorced. He remarried to a lady name Ethelyn. They lived at 95685 Sutter Creek in Amador. Ethelyn died a few years after my grandfathe. I am seeking any information about his birth place, siblings and ancestors. Thank you.

I met your grandfather one time in Sutter Creek. I dated Ethelyn Thornesberry's son James Grier for 5 years from the years 1983 until 1989. I only know what Jim told me about him, he was married to Jim's mother from the time Jim was 12years old until your grandfather died. Jim died in October 2000 or I would have been able to give you his number and he could have told you a lot I'm sure. I visited Ethelyn a few times after Morton ("Bob" they called him) died.
