I have an incredible connection to share with you! The Linda Steinman who married your Philip Chinn is my great grandmother on my mother's side. She was previously married to George Steinman who died in the Agonaut Mine disaster when my grandfater, Warren George Steinman was only months old. Linda Steinman was Linda Tucker before she married George Steinman. Tucker is her maiden name. My grandfather Warren is still living. He just turned 87. He has information on his step-brothers which I can obtain if you like. My name is Adda Caldwell, my mother is Marguerite Caldwell (Steinman maiden). I am named after the Ada you refer to. Ada Alviso is her married name. I have her drivers liscence, bible, and a baby quilt she made me. She helped to care for the Chinn boys and my grandpa Steinman. I don't think she is of any blood relation. I can get info on her too if you like. As for Linda, the only info I can obtain on her is of her death in Amador County, CA. My grandfather doesn't even know anything about her!!! I am trying to research for him so he can know more about where his mother came from. He is getting up there in the years, but is in good health.
