I have just about given up searching for the Dodd line. My grandmother's mother was Julia Dodd, born Oct. 6, 1896. The story goes that her mother (Elizabeth Johnson(?) Dodd)died giving birth to her. In all of the census records I can find, Julia is living with her older sister Mary Della Archer (and husband William). Her father's name was Bryant David Dodd, and went by B.D. He was a Justice of the Peace in Jackson County, Arkansas somewhere between 1893-1895. You would think I could find some information, somewhere! If anyone else out there is searching or has some information, please let me know!
