I'm not sure if we have the same Hosia Patterson and different b/d dates and if so which dates would be correct,
but I have a Hosia B Patterson born oct,10, 1879 (Pilot grove, hancock Ill) died 1925 briggsville Yell AR. Son of Thomas Benton Patterson born 9/23/1850 (Pilot Grove, Hancock, ILL) dead 6/1/1925 (Briggsville Yell Ar)and Jane Young 5/21/1854 (Pilot Grove, Hancock, Ill) dead 9/27/1894 (Goldendale,Klickitat, Washington).

I found a Hosia Patterson on 1930 census for Hempstead County Arkansas. Could this be the family you are looking for.
