I cannot find a death certificate for my great uncle. He was John Calvin Scott born 1865 MS and died 1942 Yell, AR. He is buried in Mt. Zion Cem near Briggsville. There should be a death certificate for him but he is not listed on the Arkansas Death Records and when I sent for his death certificate they could not find one. He may have died somewhere else and not be on the Yell County or even the AR list. I just found my great grandmother's death record and it did not give the names of her parents because my grandfather gave the information and evidentially he did not know their names. Such a disappointment.
