George Washington Turnbough was my gg grandfather. His son Madison Carrol Turnbough moved from TN, to AR, to TX, to OK. I had heard that the name was spelled differently, and am so glad to learn this. Were they Treambeaugh in TN as I think I found some of them there when looking at the 1800 census. Didn't pay much attention as didn't know the old name.
