I visited Reneau Cemetery last year with my grandfather and his nephew. There is not a road leading to the cemetery from the gravel road. We had to drive across a field to get there. Once we got to the cemetery, it was impossible for my grandfather to get to it. The fence that once surrounded it has fallen down. There are graves caving in. Some headstones are damaged and falling over. It is very overgrown with weeds and honeysuckle. I tried to find out who owned the land, so I could get permission to clean and repair the cemetery. Never found out who to contact. My great grandfather Samuel Peter Weaver is buried in an unmarked grave. It did have a marker, but it has long since dissappeared.
