My great grandpa was Able R. Jackson born 1835 in Camden TN. About 1870 he moved to White Co. AR. His wife was Martha Ann Moss, daughter of William Wells Moss. I am not sure but I think some of the Moss family also went to White Co. Able R. Jackson was a merchant in or around Romance Ar. He and his wife are buried in Romance Cemetery. He had 4 children, William Andrew married Mary Standfield, Biddy Jane must have died young, I don't know anything about Thomas Wesley, and my Grandmother was Mary Alice Jackson born 1869. She married 3 times in White Co. AR.
first to W. T. Patterson next to W. A. Yoast and finally to my grandfather Hiram B. Love. She had 3 children with Mr. Patterson. If anyone has any information on these people please respond to bird@scrtc.com

Mary, I don't have anything on your Jacksons but the Moss family you mentioned caught my interest. I am searching for a George Rutledge Moss. He was born in AR but I believe his family may have came from TN. Do you have any info on your Moss line?

I am interested in comparing info. I have a Mary Ida J. (Jackson?) Patterson who married Lemur Morris Yoast in AR -
children Una A. E. b July 1879, maybe a Kate born c1880,
Margrette 'Addie' b 9/1881 (married Joseph Martin Baker
c1902, White Co. (7-8 children), and possibly a Morris Yoast
b c1883. Or were these children Pattersons and listed as Yoast on census records? My real problem is who is Lemur Morris, often L. M. - parents particularly. He d after 1910, maybe White Co. Any help very much appreciated. theo
There is an F. E. Yoast d 1882, White Co bur Belew Cem. Need to connect them as father/son. Can you help?
