John was also married to Margaret (Beavert) who had two boys, William Leroy and Larkin Pinkney, by a previous marriage to John Beavert. William Leroy testified in a California Union pension application the he had seen, on several occasions, the Beavert family bible but does not know what happened to it since he left home (around 1858) and never saw any of his family again. I am trying to locate this bible. I can find no evidence that Larkin had it but I have no history of Adalade or Adalizer. Can anyone help? According to William Leroy, this bible family history went back 100 years. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks.
