Martha Evlina Sallee was born 13 MAY 1841 in LaRue Co., Kentucky. She married Robert H. Clayton, born 17 MAR 1841. They married 17 OCT 1865 in LaRue Co.

They moved to Arkansas between 1869 and 1872. In 1880 they were living in Mars Hill, Washington Co., Arkansas. They had 2 children: Mary O. Clayton, born abt. 1869 in Kentucky and Jefferson M. Clayton, born abt. 1872 in Arkansas.

Robert died 16 SEP 1923 in LaRue Co., Kentucky and is buried in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in LaRue Co. Martha is also buried in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, but has no death date on her headstone. I don't know whether they moved back to Kentucky after the 1880 census or were sent back there to be buried.
