I am dec. from Sam & Jane's son Walter and would greatly appreciate any info you could share with me about where Sam came from and anything you have on him. I would be happy to share with you anything from Walter's family that I have.

I have wondered if Sam came from John Drayden Griffith (son of Joel). He has wife Louisa listed in several census records born 1843 and she obviously couldnt be Sam's mother, but he could have married before and Sam left home by 1870 to live with the Cameron's.

Mike, where did you get Sam's death date? I havent found any death or cemetery records anywhere and if you wouldnt mind to send me what Charlotte Harris sent you, I would appreciate that too.
