Know all men by these presents: that I, William COOK, for and in consideration of Two Hundred Dollars paid to me in hand do hereby grant bargain and sell to E.L. WOODFIN and unto his heirs and assigns forever the following tract of land lying in the County of St. Francis, State of Arkansas to wit: The northwest quarter of section nine (9) township four (4) north, range one (1) west. To have and to hold the same unto the said E.L. WOODFIN and unto his heirs and assigns forever with all appurtenances thereunto, belonging, and I hereby covenant with the said E.L. WOODFIN, that I will forever warrant and defend the title of said land against all lawful claims whatever.
