I have recently found information on my Great-Grand parents on a census form dated June 29, 1900.
It is as follows:
Jones, Lewis (Head) DOB April,1858 Race:B
Jones, Jessie (Wife) DOB ?1868 Race:B
Jones, Laura A.(Daughter) DOB Sept, 1888 Race B
Jones, Jeff (Son) DOB Mach 1890? Race B
Jones, Dephalia? Daughter DOB 1894 Race B
The census lists place of birth for Lewis as Georgia
" " " for Jessie as Mississippi
The children are all born in Arkansas.
My father was Lucious Thomas and had brothers Jesse, Lewis,Jr., Levi and Dennis and sisters Virginia and Izola. There is also a connection to Phillips Cty., Ark as well as Searcy Cty. Grant Thomas later married Laura Ann Jones my grandmother. I have additional info that will be helpful to anyone else on this journey and am deperately searching for the rest of this puzzle.
