Surnames: GRUNERT, BANNES, HOMAN, ALLEN
Mr Grunert (first name believed to be Joseph) immigrated to the US from Germany about 1885 with his wife, Emilie, and at least two young children, Hedwig (Hedy) and Albert J. They settled in Sebastian County. Elilie died before 1900, but Mr Grunert was alive in 1900, but cannot be found in the 1910 census. He was naturalized as a US citizen in 1906 in Arkansas, as was Albert J.

Albert (b Jun 1878) married Catharine Homan (b abt 1885) about 1910 in Fort Smith, and they had at least one child, Catharine (b 16 Mar 1910 d 13 May 2000). Catharine married Kirby C Allen (b 26 Feb 1908 d 24 Apr 1991).

Emilia Grunert was born Emilia BANNES in Prussia. She was my husband's grandfather's sister. The rest of the Bannes family settled in St Louis MO or stayed in Prussia.

Is there anyone out there who can find death dates on Mr Grunert (and confirm his given name), Emilia Bannes Grunert, Hedwig Grunert (believed to have not married), Albert J Brunert, or Catharine Homan Grunert? Are there any children of Catharine Grunert and Kirby Allen still living in the area? They were Catholic before leaving Prussia, and I'm assuming they remained Catholic, so they may be buried in the Catholic cemetery in Fort Smith.

Any help greatly appreciated.
