I believe we have shared info previously, so this may be a repeat of that data.

Melissa Hale was the daughter of Preston and Anna Indiana (Rogers) Hale. Preston was the brother of John Hale, my 2nd great grandfather. Their parents were James C. Hale and Mahala James. Preston and John had one sister named Lue Vicey Hale, who married Henry Baldwin Payne. They may also have had a sister named Frances (Louisa?) according to a story written by my great uncle, Roy Hale. I've never found any info on her, but he stated she married a Miller.
