A number of GWMs, mostly unrelated, mostly in Arkansas at mostly the same time, so I mention the following: Your GWM was evidently in the 1860 Union Co AR census (evidently not the same as and not related to the Murphy in the 1870 Union Co AR census) and your GWM eventually moved to Louisiana.

I am related to the Keesees through my father's side of the family, making this GWM a very distant cousin-in-law. Then through my mother's side, I am related to a completely different Murphy family, no relation to the first, which also has at least one GWM, maybe more. Then there are other GWMs in Arkansas at the time whio do not appear to be relatives.
