I have a George Finley(1810) who was an abolitionist active in Northern Arkansas. He had two brothers (unnamed) who helped him on the Underground Railroad. Supposedly he was killed 1bout 1858-59 by bushwackers whose mission was to kill anyone who helped free Negros. George Washington was married to a woman named Rachel Moore, Hix, Hand. (she was widowed several times). They had one son from this union, George Washington Finley, born 1857 in Randolph County.

My hope is to find information on the George Finley born 1810. Any information would be wonderful. Any leads on where to look next would be appreciated as well!
