William Erle Hensley b, ca 1881 Hensley ARK d. after 1955 AL m. bef 1903 Victoria Kalleen. Victoria was daughter of John Coleman and Louisa M. Kalleen. 1910 census of Middlesex NJ says John was b. NY and I believe it says his parents were from CAN, but census was hard to read. Victoria was born CAN. William and Victoria (following census reports) spent time in TN, where 9 out of 10 of their children were born. Found them also living in Mobile AL at some point (this is where their oldest daughter married and died. Eventually, they moved to Birmingham AL which is where they remained. Through oral history, William's father died while he was in his teens and he worked to support his mother and two younger siblings. He put both siblings through college. Was said that his brother (name unknown at this time) was a Professor at Stanford University. Victoria's father was a Supervisor at New Jersey's State Home for boys.
