I just recently found where Henry N Pryor who married Susan Taylor lived in Lawrence Co., Tn in 1840 census.
Do you have more history about Jack & Charity Taylor?
If Susan Taylor Pryor moved to Pope Co., AR after Henry died in 1864 and also her sister then maybe your Harper Shields Taylor was a brother who moved there first.
Henry & Susan's oldest daughter Eliza Jane b 1837 married Lee Wisdom. He joined the C.W. at Nashville in 1861 and died from wounds in the Battle of Chickamauga Oct 1863. He married Eliza in 1856 Giles Co., Tn. She moved to Pope Co., AR with her 4 small children with her mother.
I hope we can find something to connect this Taylor line.
