Here is what we copied from Ennis Cemetery:
A. M. ANNIS (Ennis) age 16 Carved in a rock.

Andrew Jackson Davis 30 Sep 1834 - 06 Sep 1845 son of Caleb Davis and Elizabeth Tackett
Sarah E. Davis 06 Mar 1847 - 06 Oct 1859, daughter of Caleb Davis and Elizabeth Tackett

These three are the only markers in this cemetery. When the Pope Co. Historical Assoc. copied this cemetery back in the late 1960s or 1970, they found 32 unmarked graves. We found only 26.

Cemetery is located off Highway 326 northeast of Russellville. From the junction of Highway 326 and 124 go east on 326 for 1.3 miles to the junction of East Gumlog Road. Turn right and go .2 mile. Cemetery in grove of trees on your left. It is in a pasture and in bad shape. Both the Davis stones were broken. We copied sometime between 1995-1997.
