I have the Shinn-Reed connection in Cabarrus Co., NC. I am trying to find the parents of Mary (Polly) Reed who married Thomas Jefferson Shinn in NC in 1830. I have seen many pieces of information that shows her grandfather as John Reed, owner of the Reed gold mine, but no mention of her father or her mother.

Would you have any of this information?
