I am looking for information on the marriage of my greatgrandparents.

Samuel E. Meek married Mattie Cumbie in 1889 and I think it would have been in Polk Co. There first child was born there in 1890 and my grandfather Roy Meek was born at Hatton in 1902.

I have traced Samuel Meek from his birth in Drew County in 1868 to Polk co in 1890.

Also, Samuel and Mattie had a son named Curtis Meek born in 1897 that was killed some time between 1912 and 1919.

I had heard he was killed by train but unable to verify this.

Curtis is burned in Cecil Chapel Cemetery.

Any information on these two items would be appreciated.
