John Grant, b. abt. 1805 in Maury County, TN m. Martha Shannon (b. abt 1820 in NC) on January 1, 1839 in Marshall County, TN. They moved to Pontotoc County, MS in the 1840's as noted in the Mississippi Census records and later to Poinsett County, AR. They are noted in the Arkansas Census records in 1860 & 1870.

They had two sons, David and Jackson, and three daughters, Levinia, Jane and Sarah.

I am seeking any descendents of any member of the family.
