Hello ... do you have any info related to Mississippi Cty history? Specifically, I'm looking for info about a black family (surname: WOODFORD or WASHINGTON) that owned a lot of land in Blytheville. Reportedly, they were "run" off their land in the early 1900s by white Arkansans. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Now I have decided to try again. My Grandma was Mable Lillard (Her married name was Johnson) She had a brother named George Lillard, Taylor Lillard, Please let me know if you know any of these. I do know they lived in Mark Tree.

None of your Lillards rings a bell with me. Do you have any Rhoads, Whites, Hicks, in your Lillard lines? I still have kin living in Marked Tree, but most of the Lillards left in the 1920's to work "up north" in the auto factories here in Michigan. Anything in common? Who were the Lillards who were the parents of the ones you mentioned? Thanks!
