I believe that my Davies or Davis line descends through David Davis the son of Morgan Davies. Do you have the children of this John I? I am very much in need of this information. I am searching for the parentage of my 3rd great-grandmother; Mary (possibly Jane or Elizabeth) Davis born in DE in 1782. Help much appreciated. Mary Davis married John Fitz Randolph from NJ.

Do you have any proof of that part of your lineage. I have proved that I am in Harmon's line for the DAR but want to prove the earlier lines for Colonial Dames since Morgan went from Wales to PA before 1700. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have a copy of Rezin's will probated in 1814 but they do not have his estate record and his will does not name his children as Elizabeth Woods Causey was his second wife, married in his old age. Hope to hear from you.
