Fred, I had the great privilege of knowing Dr. Waters and learning from him. He created an ersatz seminar in jurisprudence for me when there were not enough students to qualify to do it for credit. I would go into his office three days a week and we would talk philosophy of law. After I entered Tech law school, he and I had a correspondence after the moved to Parthenon. He wrote about his trip to Berkeley and experiencing that culture. He wrote about moving to Austin and auditing classes there. He was a fantastic person.
