I've heard of it in other Lemmons' line but not particularly about our family. I do know my grandfather John Wesley Lemmons married Melvina Bradley whose grandmother was a Cherokee (AL). There was a Martha King widow of Fountain King in Newton Co. and I think they had a daughter Martha.
