Thos. D. Marshall, who came from Newton County about a year ago and located some three miles northwest of Huntsville, died recently. Deceased was an old Federal soldier and was drawing a pension of $90 per quarter.

Eastep, as Principal, and Grant Marshall,as Security, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Arkansas for the use and benefit of the Common School Fund in Newton County, in the penal sum of One Hundred Dollars, for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by the presents. Signed this 28 day of December 1906. The conidtion of the above obligation is such that whereas the above boundes has this day applied to the Clerk of the County Court of Newton County for a License authorizing the solemization of the Rite of Matrimony between the said Wm.
