I am looking for the first name of the Munn which married Nance C. Sampson. They had a daughter, Martha May "Ola" Munn which married Emery Jasper Whitten most likely in Nevada County, AR

I think that her parents were Zachary and Nancy Caroline Sampson Munn. I do have some info on them.

Glenda, Thanks very much. I was trying to make a connection between Ola May (Munn) Whitten with James Knox Polk Munn (1848-1930) and Mary Jane (May) Munn (1854-1943). Mary Jane was the sister of my Great-Grandmother, Rachel Lera (May) Whitten. Your Ola and my Rachel came from Nevada County, AR to McCurtain County, OK about the same time.

I don't know the connection on the Munn side. My grandmother was a Whitten, her mother was a May, my g-gm. You mother's Father is a half-1st cousin one time removed to my grandmother. Their family connection is William Riley Whitten
