I'm trying to track down the birth place of my grandmother, Floy Clark Freeland b. 30 Sept. 1894. On her Marriage License she shows being born in Prescott, Nevada County, Arkansas. A family source (not a Primary source) shows she was born in Smackover, Union County, Arkansas.

I just found another family bible where her birth place is listed as Cougar Neck, Arkansas.

I've only been able to find one reference to the town of Cougar Neck in Arkansas...but no indication what county it is or was in.

Anyone heard of this town before?
