Hi Luevillie: Nice to hear from another cousin. I'll give you a snapshop of what I know. LeeRoy Sr married Olivia about 1864 in Arkansas after his first wife, Sarah Murray died. He and Sarah had a fairly large family together. He had two children with Olivia, Burley and LeeRoy Jr. Burley was born in AR in 1868 and LeeRoy Jr was born in AR in 1872.In 1876 LeeRoy Sr died in Arkansas. As you can see, he didn't die during the civil war. I haven't found any of the Abbott's yet that were killed during the civil war.
After LeeRoy Sr's death, Olivia married Allen Bryant Sutton in Dec 1876. Allen Sutton raised Burley and LeeRoy Jr.
