I am John Mitchell Millwee - middle name after grandpa James Thornton...nicknamed "Mickey"... in Fort Worth, TX

I found you on an old post . . . filled in a little more of the -puzzle- I've been trying to (re)construct for some time . . . there's a well established(book) family tree on the Millwee side . . . have had much difficulty with my mother's side of the family . . . she died when I was a year old, after giving birth to my sister Sandy, who was raised by (aunt) Ruth (Thornton) and (uncle) Rob Millwee.

This is all I've been able to come up with (so far) . . .
I really appreciate the picture you posted on the board, besides 1 picture of my mother and 1 of Melba Jean (my
half-sister by mom's previous marriage before Wesley)
. . . that's all I have of them...
If you have anything else . . . it would be great to
learn more . . . The Millwee line is Scotch-Irish
(and some Cherokee somewhere, at least for my part,
according to dad . . . who always indicated the Thornton side was . . . likewise . . .
