I need help. I'm looking for info about Annie STANLEY who was probably born abt 1900 in Mississippi Co. (maybe Blytheville). I was told that she drowned abt 1915 in the Mississippi River (is it near there?).

She was my grandmother. She was a young girl who had a baby out of wedlock 3/24/15, and abt 3 weeks later gave her (my mother) away and she was raised in Lee County by Millard and Anna Campbell. She never knew they weren't her parents until she was grown and they were dead.

I have wanted for a long time to find out who my relatives are but didn't know where to start. Could any of you help? Maybe there is an article in the paper or some record of her death. I'd like to know who her parents were.
