Need info on Mary Ellen Lackey born Jan. 1, 1862 in Texas. She was married to Charles Edward McCarty born ca.1834.
Children: Rosa Belle born Mar.4,1878, Lillie, Lucy, James & Thomas.
Mary Ellen could have been married to a Hall before Charles McCarty,or her Daughter Rosa Belle married a Hall. Rosa Belle was my Great GrandMother and went by the last name of Hall or McCarty whichever suited her at the time. Rosa Belle had to my knowledge 3 husbands.She married My Great GrandFather , Carl Ludwig Lind in Greenville, Texas on Oct.25,1895, 2nd Husband , Benjamin England , 3rd Husband , Sam Roark
Mary Ellen died in Blytheville,Arkansas in 1943.
Rosa Belle died in Blytheville , Arkansas in 1957
