Help! I have hit a dead end. I am trying to find more info on George A Ellis. He was married to Alta Annis Chaffin in 1929. They were married in Bowie County, Texas. (I found the marriage record.) They had the following children:

Delores Juanita Ellis
T.J. Ellis
Johnnye Ellis (my dad)
Gail Ellis

There could be others, but I am not aware.

I cannot find any of them on the 1940 Census and have no clue where to find out more about George.

All of the children above are deceased, but one and she does not know much.

Can anyone shed some light?
