I'm following any lead I can and this is my newest. My 2nd great grandfather was Charles Rousseau born about 1832 in Canada or Michigan. He married Charlotte Martin in Michigan and they had 4 children together:
Joseph M Rousseau born about 1867
Charlotte J. Rousseau born about 1868
Charles Rousseau born about 1871 ***this is the one I'm hoping Chas Rouse/Rause is**
John Jonas Rousseau born May 17, 1875 in Beaver Island, Michigan---my great grandfather.

All four kids were born in Michigan and unfortunately this is all the information I know about this family with the exception of John Jonas.

I found in the 1900 Last Prairie, Miller, AR census a Chas. Rouse/Rause born in Michigan about 1870 and I'm hoping someone on this board may know some information on this person that will either confirm or prove it's not my relative.
