Micajah Stone was born in SC c1828. He married a woman named Tempe there and had several children. They show up on 1860 and 1870 census records of Anderson Co. SC, among other Stones of my own family line. Micajah emigrated c1872 from Anderson Co. SC to Miller Co. AR, along with sons John A. and Samuel P. and Marion Stone + others. Micajah shows up on the 1880 Miller Co. AR census with a new wife named Charlotte. They do not appear in 1900, leading to an assumption that Micajah died before that census. Most of the children show up in subsequent census records, living among Stones of my family in TX. I'm trying to figure out if there is a blood connection, but need more information on Micajah. In my family line there are several Micajahs, Samuels, and Marions, which lend further suspicion of a family link. If anyone can provide me with an obituary, burial record, or any other documentation of Micajah Stone, my family would be greatly in your debt.
